Dirty Work - An Indian Ink Production

Mosaic Choir is delighted to join with the Indian Ink Theatre in the Hamilton Production of Dirty Work.

This joyful comedy tips the modern office on its head and celebrates an unsung hero.

A chorus of office workers sing hits from Lorde, Beethoven and AR Rahman but in a toe- tapping twist none of them have read the script!

The computers are down and the big boss in India demands the impossible. The hapless staff are making a mess of things, which isn’t good news for the cleaner.

Workplace hierarchies are shattered, class and culture clash. From the chaos emerges a different way to value one another.

With close to 30 people on stage and featuring local choir members, Indian Ink takes things up an octave in their biggest show ever, finding joy in the eternal toil of work.

Don’t miss this brilliant new play from one of New Zealand’s most loved theatre companies.

Annual Concert 2021

MOSAIC is back together and even better than ever!

After all the appropriate precautions reshaped our 2020 performance calendar, this rich community, 80 voices strong, is eagerly working toward a heart-warming performance at St Peters auditorium on the evening of Saturday, July 3rd.

Drawn from Cambridge, Te Awamutu, Hamilton and the wider Waikato, MOSAIC have been relishing rehearsals, preparing a variety of songs with something for everyone; from Billie Eilish to Imagine Dragons, waiata or Bill Withers.

The singers & their effervescent Musical director, Brooke Baker are chuffed to welcome accomplished new local organ-player extraordinaire Eon Malan to the accompanist chair, along with additional offerings from a rotating lineup of musicians from within the choir.

This year MOSAIC welcome Te Pahu-based ukulele group Sylvia's Toaster as their guest performer. Renowned for performing “on the cutting edge of Ukulele music" this quirky ensemble promises an assortment of songs about love, hate, revenge and knitting!

You & yours are warmly welcomed to join us for this fun & fabulous evening of song. Pre-purchase tickets at Paperplus in Cambridge, via MOSAIC singers or by emailing hr@mosaicchoir.com

Choir Singing Workshop

Love to sing? Join us for a fun day of singing!

Choir Singing Workshop - MOSAIC choir invites you to join the choir for a day.

Fun is the focus of the day in this interactive Cambridge Autumn Festival event: participants become MOSAIC members for the day, joining this friendly crew of local singers for a day of song.

Singing together with others is a wonderful joyous thing, a way to contribute to a collaborative experience and feel a sense of belonging. If you're not smiling when you arrive we guarantee you will be when you leave.

The day will be led by MOSAIC Songleaders Brooke & Eon. Participants will sing as part of the choir, learning & sharing in new songs as well as some of our choir favourites.

The workshop will take place in Cambridge at Bridges Church, 28 Duke Street, Cambridge on Saturday 20 March 2021 from 9.30am to 4pm.

All ages & abilities welcome. (Children are welcome when attending with an adult. High school students may attend independently.)
